While spending April in military housing in DC visit the USA Science & Engineering Festival on April 26th & 27th. There is no entry fee and the festival is open both days from 9:00 am to 6:00pm. More than a hundred stage shows will include music, magic and comedy. The venue is the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and is easily accessed by train. Public parking is available in many lots around the convention center. The event website is full of great information from maps to schedules to exhibitor details. Look for guest speakers like Bill Nye The Science Guy, Michio Kaku, David Pogue and Mike Rowe from "Dirty Jobs". This event is fantastic for all ages and there are special programs for all ages. Join in activities and experiments.
