A sometimes overlooked museum when staying in Washington DC corporate apartments is The National Museum of the American Indian. This shows the history of American Indians and there footprint in this country. There is a sobering exhibition there right now until the fall of 2018. Called "Nation to Nation: Treaties Between the United States and American Indian Nations." This shows the broken promises and treaties that were set up to honor the rights and land of the American Indian and how those rights were stolen away.
