Panda Cub Born at National Zoo

Friday August 23, the giant panda at the National Zoo gave birth to a new born cub to the amazement of onlookers. Thousands of excited fans watched the cub arrive via a high definition panda cam that the zoo has set up. Labor for a panda bear can last as long as 10 hours but, this labor was two hours. So far, it looks like it’s a happy little cub and caretakers are very pleased with how things are going so far.
