This Saturday,, October 1st, go to Mount Vernon and enjoy a special exhibit, "Lives Bound Together: Slavery at George Washington's Mount Vernon". It will take place at the Donald W. Reynolds Museum on the grounds. There is a commemoration ceremony from 9:30 am-1 pm. You will hear the stories of 19 slaves that worked on Washington's estate, told through roughly 150 artifacts.
