While staying in corporate housing in Washington DC, go to the National Gallery of Art for a special exhibit called "Civic Pride: Group Portrait From Amsterdam". These portraits were painted during the Dutch Golden Age and have rarely been seen. Two large scale group portraits by artists Govert Flinck and Van der Helst depict the governors of the Kloveniersdoelen, the building where Amsterdam's main militia companies held its meetings.
