Since being established in 1862, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing has housed the printing presses that create the circulating currency of the United States. The BEP offers 40-minute tours that will show the currency production process, from paper to money. The building is located next to the Holocaust Memorial Museum and you can find out all the details on their website.
