Get out to Comedy Walks while staying in short term housing in Washington DC

Comedy Walks DC is a 1.5-hour walking tour that mixes sightseeing with stand-up comedy, led by local comedian Jake Woe. It’s geared toward visitors ages 16 and up and uses Washington, DC itself as the stage for jokes, history, and local observations. If you want something lighter than a traditional city tour, it looks like a fun pick for Oct. 10.

How Does Attache Support Think Tank Fellows on a Limited-Term Appointment?

Fellowships at DC think tanks typically run anywhere from a few months to a year, which puts most fellows in the same position: needing a real place to live without wanting a long-term lease commitment. We built our model specifically around that kind of timeline.

Do Fellows Usually Extend Past Their Original Term?

Some do, whether their fellowship is renewed or they transition into a different DC role afterward. If that happens, let us know and we'll work with you to extend your stay.

Which Neighborhoods Work Well for Fellows Without a Car?

Dupont Circle and the surrounding area tend to work well, since many think tanks cluster nearby and the neighborhood is walkable and well served by Metro.
